One of a kind. When you want to know about de Havilland aircraft.. You need to go here. Great collection of sometimes very rare aircraft in a nice setting with very good information and volunteers to ask anything.
Hidden gem! Amazing aircraft on display most of which are open to the public. Sit in cockpits, explore some of the first passenger jet airliners, see the museum's engineers at work. Fantastic place off the beaten track - well worth the visit!
We took our 13 year old Grandson here and we had a great day. The staff who are all volunteers are so knowledgeable and friendly. We found it very interesting and enjoyed the interactive things as well.
Very enthusiastic and knowledge staff. Great display of mosquitoes and their history. Lots of other DH planes and artifacts too. The site has its own fascinating story too. This is a great local asset.
It's a great place for family to visit, for enthusiasts or just for a day out. You can get into and touch many of the aircraft on site, it has a great gift shop with many different types of items to buy. A small in house eating area where you can buy fresh ground coffee or a range of teas and hot chocolate to. Staff are friendly and enthusiastic talking about the great history and contribution de Havilland made to the aviation industry and WW2
